Arts Evaluation Toolbox

The Arts Evaluation Toolbox was put together by the British Council as a short guide to support emerging artistic and cultural initiatives in evaluating artistic projects.

The Toolbox has an introduction on the importance and objectives of artistic evaluation and evaluation planning and includes a number of tools to collect data and evaluate the social and economic impact of artistic projects.

The criteria of the Toolbox build on the British Council’s strategic pillars: tangible change on the ground, including social integration and community participation; developing skills and knowledge of cultural practitioners; supporting British cultural institutions and their partnerships with local communities; and cultural policy research.
